My uncle sold Studebakers until the company closed, then English Ford and Land Rover before taking on the local AMC dealership. I well remember the new Pacers on his showroom floor. They seemed very quality made but I felt they were the ugliest thing on four wheels. (I never said that to him, of course!) -- Last edit: 2017-08-07 03:18:15 |

one of my neghbor had a Gremlin for a while some years ago , once you pass the initial shock you kind ofmiss seeing those cars . as i said once in the forum, i'm often trying to think what AMC would look like if it did survived until today |

AMC always had unique styling even for their time. I feel like the short-lived GM brand Saturn was kind of like a reincarnation of AMC. They even had their own weird recessed door handles. I'd be very interested in knowing what their cars would look like today. Also, if Oldsmobile were still around, I feel like their cars would probably be similar to the current Buicks like they've done for a long time. I'd love to see the grille designs though. |
