Though one to identify since it has been repainted in an unoriginal color and there seems to be missing some trim but I'll try my best. Four-door body P120: 1957 - Dec 1966 (half 1967). This steering wheel: 1957-1967. This boot lid handle: 1964-1970. Head restraints was an option between 1965-1967 and standard in Canada from 1968 but was a 'common' option added by dealers in Canada from 1966. The seats where usually prepared with the sleeves for the head rests but I can't see them here. Missing the chromed gutter trim that would indicate 1969-1970 but it was probably lost when the car was resprayed. Also missing the badges both on the front fenders and on the trunk lid. I'm not sure what type of rims and hubcaps it has but it could be the optional 5.5" wide wheels? It doens't look like the correct hubcaps for those rims though. It was assembled at the Dartmouth factory for the Canadian market and sold as Canadian or Canadienne. If it isn't a private import from somewhere. Amazons where assembled in Dartmouth between June 1963-1967 and in Halifax between 1967-1968. Only model available in Canada as four-door was the 122 S. I would list this as 1964-1967 (but more likley 1964-1965) Volvo Canadienne 122 S 'Amazon' P120 Built in: CDN, Made for: CDN. |
