I believe Wadham yes, it replaced I think the more rounded front design (Series III MkIII) But LD or FG? Both were basis for their ambulances in September 1960. - This ambulance must be one of the first of this design to be introduced. |

Not Morris FG version Wadham Ambulance Therefore Morris LD Wadham (but Wadham Coachbuilders Ltd not I believe Wadham Stringer as renamed from 1968 onwards). Wadham Bros. (Coachbuilders); London Road, Waterlooville, Hants The ambulance bodies are of double-skin plastics construction, ... on a -Morris L.D.2 chassis... ^Introduced April 1960 Morris FG K30 1½ Ton chassis 109" wheelbase single rears. The front wheels also suggest the lighter LD based 1½ Ton chassis. A Wadham LD body with a 100" wheelbase for comparison. ![]() Wadham Ambulance on FG chassis (1966 CM) as a "Wadham wheelchair ambulance on BMC FG K60 chassis" -- Last edit: 2018-04-23 20:59:14 |
