Could this be a Shelvoke and Drewry product? |

Some similarities to S&D but unlikely I think. Don't recognise the cab (with sliding doors perhaps?) special purpose-built body on normal chassis? Almost looks non-British to me - French Citroen or re-built WWII van of some sort. Not identical but some similar features - 1953 Laundry van rebuild of 1935 Fordson! -- Last edit: 2017-12-11 20:32:11 |

Something electric?? Doesn't seem to have prop shaft or other oily bits underneath. |

I did think about electric but this must be 30cwt or 2-tons at least with twin rears. I've only seen I think one 2-tonner (1930s) and a low-built truck for coal. Also no batteries underneath; low down to improve CofG? Could be a prop-shaft there but cannot see a fuel tank location? (edit: later found to have a gravity-feed fuel tank mounted inside the cab!) -- Last edit: 2017-12-19 13:53:15 |

Gut feeling is Karrier Bantam though can't match front end exactly . Incredibly high off the ground for urban delivery , fancy having to climb into and out of that all day. Unless aspect ratio bit off ? -- Last edit: 2017-12-12 06:08:36 |
