Found a book photo of artic cab which looks identical as the Bristol HA6L. Caption says this fibreglass cab was revolutionary, and went into production in 1960 by Longwell Green Coachworks. So these may be prototypes for a 1958 or perhaps 1959 film date?? Also seems that non-fibreglass LA6L production had started earlier, such as this one with Dec 1956 plate YAE 130. See also this entry in 1963 film identified as HA6L or HA6G with Longwell Green cab, but different (newer??) grille. Anyone able to comment further?? |
