It's a Rekord [E] and this version was made in Portugal. Although not badged like that, it was known as Rekord Delvan in several countries ( I don't know if it was the case in the Netherlands ).

In Holland it was Delivery Van.

Seems exists also Vauxhall(or Bedford?)-badged version, based on the 1979 Carlton Mk I Estate

PS In my Country Opel Rekord Delivery Vans were good newspapers and magazines transporter, especially if Diesel-powered

PS2 BTW,1978 to 1983

It was called Caravan, but that apllied for all stationcars. I do not think the term was 'Delivery'... It could be called 'Van'though...

Vauxhall/Bedford badged version was never sold in the UK. (Especially since the Carlton estate was always based on the four-door body.) Even the Opel version was not imported as a right hand drive model and sold by Opel-UK dealers.

I was surprised too to find this name, but that's what it was called in the catalogues 'Autotest' from 1978-1980 (from 1981 onwards vans weren't mentioned any more), and these are rather reliable I think.

I think it was "bestelwagen" in the Netherlands.
