Behind the truck and to the left is ...a Cadillac Fleetwood, circa 1980. |

Looks like a Grumman Delivery Truck, Chevrolet Step-Van or GMC Value Van... Except from the logo on the grille I do not know what detail allow to recognize them. In these cases, I put them as "Grumman" -- Last edit: 2005-10-12 12:05:35 |

Hard to say, as the vehicle is faked "à l' africaine" by the french speaking african owner (actor Isaac De Bankole)..why not a Grumman..it fits quite well "exotic" for this not less exotic vehicle in the film...in the film, Isaac de Bankole, speaks only french with Forest Whitaker (Ghost Dog) who doesn't understand a slight word of french...but they have many and often dialogs though the gap of language, and they have in definitive good understanding, by feelings and friendship... |

There are even more makes with look-alike vans: American General or International Harvester. But in this case I would say it is a Chevrolet Step Van from the 1960's. The bonnet on all the others is too long. Have a look at those images and decide for yourself: Link to "www.sunmanford.net" http://www.rareads.com/scans1/29592.jpg |
