With Imageshack you have to take the first link to post images on this site ;)

It's much later than 1973. It's actually a 4-door 1980 Lincoln Continental Mark VI.

The following year (1981) the 4-door versions were redesigned at the back (no more false spare tyre hump) and renamed Town Car and the Continental Mark VI name was used on the 2-door coupes only.

That's not true, the 4 door Mark VI was offered for the entire run, 1980-83, with essentially the same trim including the tire hump, shark gills, and portholes (except some special edition models where a coach roof deleted the portholes, etc.). We had a 1982. The Town Car was made from 1980-on, as well, along with the Town Coupe, which was sold in 1980-81.

Matt is correct. Four-door models we available for that entire year span.

You can break the 4 years down into 2 sets.
The 1980 and 1981's had slots in the center section of the front bumper.
The 1982 and 1983's had solid bumpers.

Can't quite be certain about the pictured car but it looks to be an '82 or '83 as the bumper appears solid.
Perhaps by changing the brightness or contrast, more of the center section would be visible.

Hah, I never even knew about the slotted bumpers, that's good to know!

That new photo Nightrider placed does indeed show this car has a solid front bumper.
Chaging listing to 1982.
