I think it looks more like a bedford cf 2 ambulance? |

Correct, definitely Bedford CF facelift (CF2). |

Short wheelbase looks like a Ford Transit with Hanlon body. |

Registration number not found for Ford or Bedford. Differences in the body are not readily visible to me, other than the Bedford I found did not have the twin rear wheels? Just before the back wheels on this vehicle there is a small black button (I think it may be a fuel cut off button, but I am not 100% sure). On the Hanlon Hi Line Ford Transit coachwork it is located before the back wheels but on the Bedford it is located after the back wheels near the rear doors. Hope this helps. |

I can see the 'black button' as described (on both the left and right sides of vehicles). ![]() Ford Transit in this case. I will also look at as many Hanlon ambulances based on Bedford CF and Ford Transits where only the rear are visible to see if any other changes are necessary. |

This was filmed in Ireland, and all the number plates are fake. |

Addition to my comment yesterday. I began panicking last night when I found some old photos at home which show a few examples of Ford Transits with Hanlon coachwork with these 'black buttons' at the rear of the wheel base, the opposite of what I said above, but to my relief I could not find any Bedfords with them in front of the rear wheels so I am still confident that its a Ford Transit. Does anyone know what these buttons or switches are? I was thinking fuel cut off or engine stop? Anyone interested in swapping or selling ambulance brochures? |

I don't know with any certainty, but my first impression was they would be access to the chassis, possibly a jacking point. I seem to remember something like that with a removable rubber bung but cannot think of the actual vehicle (not necessarily an ambulance). |

CIL is the code for Enniskillen in Northern Ireland, so a bad mock up as on NI plates have used letter suffixes. |
