I didn't know that 'Aerodyne' was used for US trucks... It's the name that Panhard used (Aérodyne) for their engines with enforced air cooling (instead of just a propeller), since July 1957, like in our car. |

That Aerodyne is a Bicenntenial VIT 200 Edition. 100 of these were made 50 Cabovers (K100) 50 Conventionals (W900) Aerodynes to Celebrate United States Bicenntenial in 1976. 2 were for each State (including Alaska & Hawaii) 1 one of each model. An ATHS member owns both VIT 200 Aerodynes. There's one VIT 200 W900 for sale on truckpaper, and a Cab of a VIT 200 K100 is sitting in a Salem, Oregon Yard. |
