johnfromstaffs ◊ 2018-11-19 16:12	Forget the chrome “thingie”. They all had one, it’s where the starting handle goes in. Just in case anyone thinks you can’t start one of these cars on the handle, if I can, anybody can. Provided that the battery has enough power to pump the petrol though to the carburettor(s) it will give a good enough spark to fire things up. Just a couple of swings and she’s away. The dynamo should then cut in and start charging the battery, but if it doesn’t she will then “fail to proceed”. -- Last edit: 2018-11-19 16:30:14
