Some info exists for the TC, registered HXD 99, bought new on 25 September 1946 with green interior, chassis TC1362, no record now of its fate, but possibly traded-in against the TD, for which very little info exists, except the switch happened shortly before his father-in-law's death - King George - on February 6, 1952. The lack of info is possibly because it may have been badly damaged in a rumoured crash - circumstances unknown - and discreetly airbrushed from history.
