Since it's pre-1994 it should be 250E rather E250. Or is the E250 bit something that sixcyl has added erroneously? (he used to pick "default" engine sizes for Mercs). Unfortunately we can't read the plate here (maybe Kazimann noted it while watching the film)

WHOA...Mercedes offered this bodystyle as a W123 Lang-type stretch with the extra length at the C-pillar????? I've never seen this before! Were they built in small numbers?

Sorry, it's a W124, not a W123. Mercedes itself has offered "Lang"-versions, even for the predecessors of the W123, the W114/115, also the previous W110, but they weren't that long. These extra long conversions were made by other coachbuilders.

I know, the W123 was an earlier car. I meant the style of limo with extra length at the C-pillar (and the extra window). Was the car shown here built by a coachbuilder? I've never seen a limousine version of like this of a late 1980s Mercedes. :) Very cool car.

Indeed, that's not an factory-made Lang. It has four doors, not six.

If as old as @Kazimann indicated a while ago, then it probably is based on a W124 sedan. The V124 as currently listed didn't appear until the facelift.
