Yes indeed. With these quarterlights it will be a 1952+ model. |

'Adenauer' est un surnom. pourquoi l'indique-t-on dans le titre? |

C'est le "extra info" qui s'ajoute. C'est un peu "confusing my dear". ( ) |

The quarterlights on front doors were introduced by the end of 1954. So, I would say it's 1955 ( model year )+. http://www.mbzponton.org/valueadded/other/adenauer.htm -- Last edit: 2007-08-09 20:08:20 |

@yvon: the first German chancellor Konrad Adenauer has used that model as his official car. He didn't took the BMW 501, because when he has tested that car, he lost his hat, when he was getting in the car. So the BMW failed. |

By the way: what a licence-plate this shall be? Style and combination looks like GDR. But a real GDR-car woud be impossible for a lot of reasons: A guy looking like that in the GDR would never drive a Mercedes 300. Noone in the GDR was ever able drive a 300er. No GDR-citizen was ever able to make a camping-tour (with a French made "Sterckeman-trailer anyways) to Western Europe. |
