P.S. when I see these junkyard-pic, I mourn about the good junkyard-times years ago ![]() Just boooring plastic-crap all around. In the early 90ies I've spend whole summer vacations to stroll about junkyard, and while travelling I've stopped and checked any junkyard, I've seen on my way. After 1998 it became worse in the EU, just in Sweden there were some old junkyards with really interesting old cars left, but as I've heard, it's over now, too. In the last 12-15 years I haven't visited any junkyard at all IIRC. It's times like this when I wish I had myself visit a junkyard when I was still living in Syria which likely would've have likely had some interesting finds but I never got around to doing it until it was too late. |
