Do I smell 1946 Packard Clipper without the grille? |

Close. I'd say 1950 Packard due to the side trim and some grille remnants. |

The most distinctive piece of trim, the chrome strip that starts below the headlight and wraps around the front fender above the wheelwell, says to me 1946-1948 DeSoto. Two-piece windshield, concave bumper, and rocker trim are also consistent. I cannot tell if the front fenders fade into the door (DeSoto style) or not (Plymouth style). |

I was trying to remember where I'd seen that front trim before and didn't succeed. DeSoto it is! -- Last edit: 2019-02-17 02:46:48 |
