The base for this modification was facelifted Star's N20.1 cabine. It is best known from "M1", but it was introduced during the 1963 in 25/27 (not yet M1) and 25 M1 was introduced later, in 1964 (27 M1 in 1966). Most notable difference between 1963 25/27 with this cab and 1964 25 M1/27 were indicators, which are absent/were removed here. The wheelbase is too long for standard Star, so it is perhaps based on "L" version, but rear overhang is too short. Maybe only cabine is of Star? |

I'd say custom, shortened bed is easier thing to build than trying to marry Star cabine with other brand chassis. Let's leave Star 25 L. |

BTW, this Fiat 621 L replica is based on Lublin 51 (modified chassis, engine, transmission, enginebay components). |
