RML. At least, that’s the bus in the thumb, which is different from the main picture. The main picture has no visible fuel filler, but has an offset number plate. RLH? -- Last edit: 2019-03-12 09:21:53 |

Fleet number can be RT or RTL. Thus, it could be Leyland PD2 or AEC Regent III. Both are bodied by Park Royal. Model is impossible to guess, only the body is certain... |

Are you saying that you can see a fuel filler on the left side of the bus? If so, then RT family. If not then it is something different. Where is the fleet no? I can’t see one. If you are referring to the thumb, that is a Routemaster Long, not an RT of any variant. Look at the windows. -- Last edit: 2019-03-12 20:36:37 |

Get the registration and we can figure out the main picture, but it's an RT or RTL. |

It appears to be LUC346 again as here. Watching the movie on youtube, part of the registration is visible earlier (LUC) and is seen with the same black background advert. In the other scene the larger 'racing driver' movie-themed advert is placed over the top of the actual advert on the same bus. They would have hired the same bus for the necessary action scenes in the movie I think. |

So, why is it still unknown? |

I have now ploughed through all the 140 plus pages of unknown buses, and offered identification where I can. As I see it, there are two problems mitigating against drastic reduction of the size of this file. 1) Where a make is identified, without model or coachwork, the bus remains in the unknown category. (Ditto coachwork without chassis, etc.) 2) Too many back views or tight close-ups. -- Last edit: 2020-01-07 22:17:12 |
