dsl ◊ 2019-03-14 01:28	Book info that these 2 grey prototypes - built in late 1956 - were the only P5 experimental hacks for all development testing. As seen they can be separated as only one has a rear bumper. One was chassis EXP/3L/2 and road registered VWD 129 on 29 March 1957, scrapped in Dec 1966, no info on the other. Interesting that they have quarterlights, not seen in production until Sept 61 Mk1A (front) and 1962 (Mk2) Coupe (front and rear).
