Only when the plate gives us those details. Argentina and Brazil have two totally different specs/badging/naming. Brazil used the Corsa name until MY 2002. C debuted in 2002 for 2003 MY for Brazil and then the OBS changed to ‘Classic’ even though trunk badges (2003-2004) stated Corsa Classic. 2005-2010 Brazilian models have Classic on the trunk instead of the 2003-2004 Corsa Classic badges. Notice what the plate pulls.....nothing about Classic in the name. I ran a 2006 earlier and it has Corsa Classic in the name in Argentina. Again Brazil was different... Ah, I didn't know that it depends on the market/years... |

No worries it confused the heck out of me. I’m running Argentinian plates and they differ in details vs. Brazilian details. Translating and reading Portuguese has help determine Brazilian changes/nomenclature/model years. I have not investigated Argentina further but I believe those were indeed Corsa Classic. From what the plate details seem to present. Wasn’t trying to sound condescending. I just spent a lot of time researching Brazilian details only to have an anonymous admin change the information. At least present credible information to contradict what I found. |
