I don't think it's a Minerva Land-Rover 80 of 1952 |

Front of the wings seem slanted, I would also have said Minerva -- Last edit: 2007-08-28 18:03:37 |

So would I, but I'm not sure of the wheelbase - did Minerva also build the 88" under licence? |

From what I learned from the video that I subtitled (cf http://forum.imcdb.org/forum_topic-1023-Minerva_4x4.html ) they made 86" for civil version, and few 80" only. From what I found on http://www.minervaabl.be/ the military one was (mostly) 80", maybe they also made few military 86". |

This is the Minerva Land-Rover 80" Series I (1952-54). Only comparatively few 86" and at least one 107" Station Wagon were produced, but none or very few entered military service. The cooperation between Minerva and Land-Rover ended in June 1956, prior to the introduction of the 88" Series I in the autumn of that year. |

My first thoughts were not to upload this picture because there are so many Land-Rovers. They all look the same (for me). Glad I did it... Edit: That's odd, 3 out of 5 Minerva's are uploaded by me... -- Last edit: 2007-08-31 09:46:44 |
