The Orange is not a DAF,but some british lorry of the end of the sixties, but am unable to find at the moment. The other is a Bedford TK.. |

You are right with Leyland and the cabin. I think the name 'Hippo' and 'Super Hippo' was only used for heavier trucks and artics, very often even hooded models. This one could be a 'Boxer' like the one in this picture: Link to "www.ianhardy.net" |
