Can't find a match for a works #15 entry which achieved an important result - the best #15 seems to be 1957 Le Mans 2nd place (Jock Lawrence/Ninian Sanderson) but that was for an Ecurie Ecosse team car - even then there is some confusion about which car it was with #XKD603 suggested by one source and denied by another - but the EE cars had Scottish road registrations in that event so not this car. Best alternative is 1954 Le Mans, #15 Peter Whitehead/Ken Wharton, chassis XKC404, retired - but photos show OKV 3 registration.
