Mk.III rather than Mk.II Indicators are above the doors large horn on the roof to replace or supplement the earlier bell on the front due to increased traffic in London. |

.... but YLD 259 was a Dec 59 to Oct 60 plate "allocated in blocks". On-set witchcraft or real-life updates?? Do all the other YLD sightings need rethinking?? |

I am of the opinion that the thumbnail is a different ambulance (the MkII as in the link to the other movies) and the main picture is definitely the MkIII. Date of introduction of MkIII versus MkII needs investigation. The Mk.III improvements included a different front appearance grille and side lights requiring the moving of the turn indicators plus its body was substantially new being double-skinned. I will see what I can find, but the turn indicators alone makes me think MkIII rather than MkII with updates? -- Last edit: 2019-09-23 14:25:33 |

Main picture's movie appearance found on line plus other scene appearances confirm it is YLD 259 most likely in all cases. The main picture's 'turn indicator' above the door is actually a part of the burning building superimposed in the ambulance. |
