It's hard to tell the difference because both the 2016 and 2017 models are pretty much identical. I own a 2017, and was under the impression that only the 2017 models get sharkfin antennas. I've never seen 2016 models come with it.

As for myself, A Subaru Owner I have 2017 Crosstrek 2.0i Premium (CVT) mine doesn't come with sharkfin antenna just monkey tail antenna cuz its a standard model. If I want the shark fin antenna I have to spend $2k for the eyesight package. by looking at this picture I would say its 2017 2.0i Limited model.

Turns out you are correct about it being a 2.0i Limited model. I ran the plate on CARFAX and it came back to a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek 2.0i Limited. Admins, please make this correction.
