By the chrome strip under the side windows, I would say it's a 190 [W121]. |

190 indeed. Were those sidelamps under the headlights standard in Italy? If so, it would be "made for Italy". |

Yes, side turn signals and white front turn signals were made for Italy. Also the cars in Italy had no hazard-signal in that times, until the 70ies. After I bought my K 70 in 1998 in San Remo, I had to change a lot of electrical things to pass the German TÜV, the technical inspection.
