MkVI, Standard Steel Saloon, but without a better view of the boot, could also be an R-type, as that design of radiator grille was used on both types. The lights and bumpers are export spec. so offer no clue, and all the close-up pictures seem to have been taken by someone with delirium tremens so are no help either. Since it is registered in a foreign country there may be difficulties in tracking it down, I will have about 300 pages of MkVIs to sift through, and about 200 pages of R-types firstly having to find all the left hand drive ones. Unless someone knows the actual car, it may take a while. In respect of its being a Royce, the position of the opening of the bonnet under the handle, and the design of the radiator grille and surround suggest not. There used to be a fashion for disguising Bentleys as Royces, but not for doing vice-versa. -- Last edit: 2019-12-08 19:24:24

However, I think I can “see” (almost) two points that suggest a Mk VI over the R-Type. 1. Can we see a thumb lever above the steering wheel hub? 2.
