 Morris-Commercial LC5 yes (or badge engineered alternative Austin 301). edit - earlier LC4 eliminated by the bonnet catches being visible - LC4 had removable not hinged panels.

Appleyard, Herbert Lomas and Dormobile eliminated I think - who did the swoopy styled version I think needs an ambulance expert.

 PDL 108 was Isle of Wight Sept 57 to May 58; 1st Jan 58 number was 327.

 By a rather circuitous route, I believe this and 'The Saint' earlier Morris-Commercial Ambulance have bodies by Wadhams.

Wadhams, Lomas and Appleyard versions were common on the LC5, and its not Lomas or Appleyard; also Wadhams typically had the shaped rear door glasses rather than rectangular windows.

Also similar to this Morris-Commercial Wadham ambulance with a longer wheelbase compared with the normal 10ft 1in on the standard LC5.

The Wadham Bros. Ltd. of Waterlooville did this swoopy style in various variations (WTF?!). See a similar one in this advertisement from 1954:

 Thanks that adds further to the chassis information for the longer LC5 type they describe it as NVS = so despite only single rears the its Morris-Commercial NV (S=Six-cylinder engine edit: in 1930s usage or possibly single rears but that suffix I think was generally used later.)
