Agree - it's also a shortened door so a 4-door body. |

I'd say 4-door Herald should have Indian origin. |

Coventry designed a 4-door Herald in 1959 and built some mock-ups and prototypes, but abandoned the idea - one problem may have been the thin C-pillar was too fragile, so would have needed new patterns for the window glass as well. I guess a few years later they blew the dust off the drawings and sent them to India, and the result was a much more solid C-pillar. |
