@tom11: the Notchback wasn't sold there, neither as Shortnose (1961-1969), not as Longnose (1970-1973). Only the Fastback and the Squareback. We have just one accidental background found of a Notchback in the USA here, but I don't know, in which movie. ![]() |

Ah, yes. The Notchback at French Connection is odd for one more reason. It's the basic version, ti identify by the missing trims on the side. Normally VW never has exported poverty-spec trim lines of any car to the USA ![]() |
