what's the maximum height for trucks in GB? On the continent it's EU-wide 4,00 meters. It seems, there are specific GB-regulations, as you see there still today obvious higher trucks. -- Last edit: 2020-04-14 21:47:45 |

Apparently UK motorway bridges and any bridge without low-bridge signs are 5 metres (16'6") in the UK. |

Motorway bridges in UK have 5.03 m clearance . This does look a high load. |

That is a Triumph 2000 Mk1. Not so little, ours was a 1964 model Gunmetal grey, manual gearbox with overdrive on 3rd and 4th. AUX912B. One of my Dad’s rare departures from BMC type cars, the others being a Vanguard estate, a Citroën traction, a Chrysler 2 litre, and Mum’s Dolomite. Remember, Dad was a petrol head, they had a car each, mostly, and I’m talking 30ish years, so there was a lot of cars. -- Last edit: 2020-04-15 09:01:47 |
