Toyota Supra? |

I think at this point it was called Celica Supra (circa 1982, I guess) |

I call this a Toyota Celica. ![]() |

According to comment here the Supra was a version of the Celica until 1986. But I do not know if this one is one of these, or if it is just a regular Celica. |

this and the Back to the Future Supra are almost identical, even in color. The one that was just Celica had different front end and taillights. /vehicle_4384-Toyota-Celica-RA64-1983.html -- Last edit: 2007-11-09 17:32:50 |

Actually the only difference in these early cross overs is the celica had 2L and Celica Supra had 2.8L (Same body) |

and the blue one in BTTF was a lean-back-light celica 4 cylinder 1.8L |

1984. '82-'84: old style spoiler. '84-'86: body coloured hatch, wrap-around front turn signals, wide "Supra" banner on hatch. Note for identifying other cars: Some very early '84 model year cars will have body coloured hatches (older ones are black, regardless of what colour the rest of the car is), but still use the older small "Supra" decal on the right corner of the hatch. This seems to be an unusually common year in movies, which is nice, because it's the easiest to identify. The only difference between '85 and '86 is the third brake light, and the only difference between '82 and '83 is that the '82 badges just say "Supra" (not "Celica Supra") edit: the model code is MA67, not TA60. -- Last edit: 2009-04-07 10:30:29 |
