I'll let a Packardist assemble the name into the correct order: "1941 PACKARD EIGHT ONE-TWENTY CONVERTIBLE COUPÉ, Registration FSK 421, Chassis no. 1499 2463 The eight-cylinder Packard was in its 19th series (there was no 13th) by the time this One-Twenty two-door convertible rolled off the Detroit company’s production line in 1941...... Acquired for the Collection in 1989 and first registered in the UK in 1991, this Packard One-Twenty Convertible comes with expired MoTs suggesting occasional use in the 1990s and early 2000s. Finished in maroon with white leather upholstery and red carpets, the car features ‘Art Deco’ sidelights, mascot and radio, and is offered with copy 1941 owner’s manual, old Pennsylvania Certificate of Title, old Swansea V5 and current V5C registration documents." - from 2007 Bonham's auction |
