Being Timpson’s it’s probably an AEC Reliance. Link to "www.ebay.co.uk" |

List of AEC Reliance/Plaxton Coaches owned by Timpson’s 549 to 552 GXX JJJ 573 to 576D NMX 577 to 586E BLA 591 to 597H ELU 598 to 605J JYT 606 to 613K If it’s Timpson’s, and a Plaxton body, it’s an AEC Reliance. There are later ones, but maybe too new for this film date. -- Last edit: 2020-05-07 19:18:52 |

Alright, let's go for an AEC. By the way, what's that livery on the double decker on the right ? Is it an allover advertising ? |

I don’t know. Assuming it’s one of the Routemaster airport coaches, but where’s the towing equipment for the baggage trailer? |

The other possibility is an Atlantean or a Daimler, with unusual coachwork. |

Nothing says Routemaster to me, either BEA airport bus or Green-Line coach. Glass areas and number-plate location look wrong. Comparing it with an RT body suggests blanked off open rear platform (so could be front entrance) but based on RT family rear entrance design. Advertising placed over destination board and covering rear glasses. |
