New indicators, old grille: 1964-1966. Foglights and overriders were aftermarket extras. According to my infos (Rétroviseur #51, novembre 1992, dossier 404 CC; see also http://arthur-kerkhoff.com/site/404c/kleuren.htm ) the Coupé has never been available in red, but there were two red colours for the Cabriolet. Therefore I'd say this is a 1964 404 Cabriolet. |

Sorry Dmike, but this 404 is a Sedan General shape, grill and bumpers are neither from a Cabriolet nor a Coupé. |

No reason for arguing Adrián is right to say that I was wrong, Antoine is right to say that this site won't evoluate when we have to wait for double confirmation... I try to be prudent to list cars definitively, and of course it's always possible to make changes afterwards. Just to explain my mistake here: Obviously it had been listed as Seat 850 Coupé originally. As a result of the correct comment by Blackwalls it had been changed to Peugeot 404, but category was still coupé and origin Spain. Because of this 'category: coupé' I was blinded and just didn't think of the possibility that it's a sedan. |

Yes i know i know but i didnt want you to make changes as we were just arguing of which car it could be, but with this i dont mean change should not be done, just thsi was the case as it was recently added and were still arguing, i dont mind that you changed it if you knew what it was but i dont know why he has to ask that now. |
