I have been in touch with my friend who owned this car in the 1970s and 80s, and he said it had been much rebuilt, including a new chassis after a crash back in the 1930s. He knew it had been in a film, but not which film, so he was pleased that we had found it. |

My friend provided me with a potted history of the car, including the # of the original chassis, but it’s probably best not to dig too deep as the original chassis may have surfaced elsewhere as another car!
