As US vehicle, 1967-72 model, and I suspect a 1969-72 hood. Most probably a Chevrolet, due to the thin fender badge, and with what seems to bee a front differential, although the ground clearance doesn't seem to be that high and the tires look really small, for a 4×4 K-Series. Plus a short Fleetside bed. → 1969 Chevrolet K-10 Fleetside? (unless model years and name differ in ZA) _____ @dsl: according to IMDb the episode title is "Der Afrikaanse Broederbond 3" (The African Brotherhood 3, in Afrikaans), but no location is given. So probably in ZA... if East-German producers from the late 1970s had enough money and political influence to send their actors there. Or maybe is it just a footage? |

Lack of side marker lamps would suggest a 1967 model. And in my opinion a K-Series would sit higher. |

Agree with supcoach on ride height. This looks 2wd. The rear trailing arms of the 2wd suspension are visible on either side of the rear differential (perhaps confusing one into thinking it is a front diff?). A K series would have leaf springs mounted above the axle. Agree with elmer about the swb thus half ton. C10 if correct for ZA? |

We're talking about a South-African vehicle, here. The side markers were mandatory in North America, but what about South-Africa? I see here a square hood, hence the 1969+ idea. @4x4peru: as I also said, I was really unsure of the 4wd, hence the question mark at the end of the identification I proposed .gif ";)") So, the cubic thing visible on the left of the differential is the end of the trailing arm.
