Looks to me like one of the 1930s Albion Post Office Telephones 3 ton trucks. https://www.flickr.com/photos/116071498@N08/43016338874/ -- Last edit: 2020-09-02 18:22:11 |

1935 Albion 126 1935 HL126 3½-4 Ton or 1936 KL126 5-5½ Ton, later model possibly to survive to 1951. Cannot determine what it's carrying or if it has a special purpose body, looks like livestock perhaps but in an open body? -- Last edit: 2020-09-02 21:28:15 |

The PO telephone crane in johnfromstaffs' flickr link purports to be a CL122 but that would have single rears and was 2-2½ Ton. The PO conservatively rate their tonnage so their crane vehicle as a whole is more like 5 Ton and have the KL126 double rears. https://www.britishtelephones.com/vehicles/cranes/004.htm -- Last edit: 2020-09-02 22:15:55 |
