It's tricky with this particular generation Bluebird. Both japanese wiki and Nissan Global still call this generation Bluebird as 'Datsun'. In the marketing, they adversited it as Nissan Bluebird (supposedly hiding the name of Datsun for whatever reason). Also mentioned in this article: ..so basically, Bluebird stayed as Datsun until the 7th generetaion (1983+) (but not in the adverts, oddly enough). This is the 6th generation Bluebird ( 1979-83 / SSS variants, like this one, first appeared in 1980). But it is annoying, especially when we already have a bunch of 910 Bluebird's in Japan listed as Nissan's (granted, I called a few of them as Nissan's too). So it's a bit of a coin-toss..
