 LAD short door cab so Leyland Comet or Dodge 300 probably the former.

 Leyland Comet or Super Comet. I think Dodge's front end was more flat-fronted in the grille area, plus as you suggest they were not commonly found at airports. Likely some sort of lubricants truck? Too light for a refuller perhaps.
