I looked at this and thought rear lights and flared arch are wrong for a DB6. Some head-scratching later, a light dawned - Triumph TR4 with Dove GTR4 conversion (maybe 40-55 made). But rear lights still wrong .... |

Yes, something isn't quite right here. I did another picture without the reflection and it appears that the rear wheel arch is more rounded, so it might not be a DB6 at all (or AM). It even looks similarly sized as the mini and ADO16 in front.![]() |

Other fastback things it's not: - any of the various Harrington Sunbeam Alpines or Tiger - Broadspeed Mini GT - Gilbern GT - Trident Clipper |

I was wondering about some kind of Lenham Le Mans Spridget conversion or an MGB Berlinette by Coune, but not convinced of either. |

Looks like a TR4 to me so maybe it is a Dove Conversion ,re. lights - these little companies were never good at sticking to a rigid spec ! |

For me it looks like DB6. From the direction that picture was taken even flat rear wheel arch may looks like rounded (see the link below). Rear window shape and its high location definitely looks like in DB6. That's my opinion. Link to "s.yimg.com" -- Last edit: 2020-09-09 11:12:58 |

I'd be happy with TR4 Dove if they made any with Imp tail lights and I could see a kink in wing behind door. So 90% convinced, but not quite over the line. |

I believe TR4 Dove would have lower rear window location, I can't also see stamped shape over the window -- Last edit: 2020-09-10 08:42:04 |

Not a TR4 Dove I believe. Door handle height too high relative to rear wheel-arch. Rear bumper slightly too high relative to door sill. No swage on the rear wheel-arch. |

It does look very small, maybe something Herald based? Bond Equipe GT 2+2 has some similarities but not all ! -- Last edit: 2020-09-10 22:52:50 |

I'm about 75% convinced it is a DB6. The 'wrong' round rear lights are I think comparable to the DB6's integrated units, the upper orange turn indicator can appear circular if you consider the actual lens construction in Ringo's link. The horizontal bright dividing line is visible in both the DB6's combined unit and the movie screen shot. Some or most of the other details are similar enough for me (at the moment!). Height of both the 1100 saloon and the DB6 is 53 or 54 inches - near identical. ![]() -- Last edit: 2020-09-11 11:51:21 |

I agree apart from the 'wrong' rear lights it all matches well. -- Last edit: 2020-09-12 06:56:31 |
