Late wheels - I think Oct 78+ when resumed production switched to Coventry. I think it also has the late bonnet with small raised centre bulge which arrived for the TR8 but was also fitted to TR7 from about 1980. Only about 400 TR8 coupes were made, mostly LHD for US and CDN, and very very unlikely a RHD (which were mainly pre-production) would end up in ZA. |

Button badge on front panel means final April 80- Oct 81 Solihull build - Canley-builds (October 1978 to August 1980 so some overlap) had laurel wreath stickers. |
