How did you know the complete plate ? The 127 Top was briefly built between mid 1979 and 1980. If a 1981 plate a second registration. |

January of 1981 indicates a late registration. We see this on GB plates from time to time. |

The front plate was partially (barely) visible in another shot and I tried some combinations. I don't think it's a second registration, as the site usually gives the 1st registration date, even if it's imported. I think it's more likely a late registration. Anyway, I once read in some of my magazines that the Top was produced in a small batch also after the 1981 update with a black interior from the Super instead of the blue one. I have to check my archive to find the source  |
