Essentially the Merlin was a version of the Swift developed specifically for London Transport - and London Transport also took large numbers of Swifts. However, looking at the bus histories compiled on http://www.countrybus.org/ all the vehicles of this type acquired by British Caledonian from London Transport were Merlins. |
