If KI 5203 = Waterford, 1953. Info on Irish builds of UK commercials is a complete black hole apart from they built Bedfords, but I'm fairly sure they did it, even if no idea what/when. |

It is NI5203 Painted grille gives a different look to this Loadstar. ![]() -- Last edit: 2020-11-16 10:40:15 |

...also possibly bright windscreen surround is rare (about three detected to date) normally rounded rubber section (unless these also were painted white!). About when was NI5203 registered? |

NI 6289 was Wicklow, 1951. |

Groups of 3 scuttle louvres added behind the bonnet after June 1951, so missing here. |

1951 Wicklow issues were NI 6081 to 6632 which supports early 51 idea. Do we feel brave enough to go for Irish build from the grille and screen trim anomalies?? |

edit: On the basis of this truck only, I would not associate any of the anomalies with Irish manufacture. -- Last edit: 2020-11-17 11:01:11 |

With new info here about Austin commercial assembly from late 40s through to end 60s (although models not specified), can we now take this as probable local build? |
