Choice is June 76 3500 or Oct 77 2300 and 2600, all of which were pretty much the same early on apart from a trick with the wheels which seems to be that 3500 had chrome rings and lots of black, 2600 no chrome rings but same black, 2300 reduced black. My guess is 2600 here.

But 2-doors in UK were poverty 1.3 and 1.6 Basic and L trims - usually for Motability conversions. A 2.3 GLS Automatic is too far up the ladder to be normal order. The only thing I can think of is a special batch for Crayford convertible. Very ordinary non-police interior Unintended plot irony - main is when Leroy's dad gets beaten up by the cops from the Rover. A year (or whatever) later, Leroy has become a cop and is driving the same car.
