Small Axe has stories from 70s to 80s in 5 stories so we will hopefully see a lot of nice old cars -- Last edit: 2020-12-02 00:13:34 |

More background vehicles including a Jaguar Mk.II, Ford Anglia, Ford Cortina Mk.III in fern green, Ford Transit and Triumph Spitfire with hardtop. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also an unknown saloon seen at the end, which could be significant.... or not. ![]() -- Last edit: 2020-12-06 12:14:00 |

Been looking at this and best idea I can think of is Audi 100 GL [C1]. Might be a dark roof - either vinyl which was GL option or .... cue drumroll for a wild punt .... a Crayford convertible - 9 made, and at least one (KKM 342P) was yellow - https://www.flickr.com/photos/zappadong/15128460903/ , https://www.flickr.com/photos/zappadong/15562425408/ . Probably too improbable, but hey-ho, it'll be Xmas soon. |

^ The best I have to offer is a Vauhall Victor FD |

I'd go more with something british rather than the Audi... |

Both this and Wonder Woman 1984, brought back 80s police cars, /vehicle_1461618-Ford-Transit.html But Small Axe wins for me because it has a more accurate livery, unless the Wonder Woman scenes weren't in London -- Last edit: 2020-12-26 18:27:01 |

Solved - Humber Sceptre [Arrow] - there's a moment in this blurry clip where top of shield grille shows above bonnet line - and vinyl roof matches. Earlier glimpses in same position behind the Standard and rear in centre distance ![]() ![]() Sept 67 launch so could squeeze into "1968" ep, but colour was about 1970. Could well be this one again "JDS 297J" which has appeared a few times without revealing its real plate. Continuing in "1968" ep1.01 'Mangrove' ![]() 1971-72 XL Automatic, so another time-travelling miracle; has LSL 201 plate which seems to be a filming floater. |
