1955 Austin grille before 1966 (when also used on Morris) '69 HL', '69 ML' or '69 NL' providing the grille wasn't changed on this actual ambulance before 1969. It could be an Appleyard body perhaps? /v877400.html ![]() Cropped and enlarged. |

Appleyard of Leeds Ltd. looks good - count me in. Maybe the one below? |

If 69 HL = Wakefield, July 63 to July 64, although seems they only issued 1001 to 4151, despite We've identified this vehicle using the details you provided LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SP HSE TDV8 A 2009 Registration number: 69 HL Body type: Estate Colour: Blue Date of first registration: April 2009 69 ML = Middlesex, Sept 61 to Feb 63 "allocated in blocks" We've identified this vehicle using the details you provided FERRARI 488 GTB S-A 2016 Registration number: 69 ML Body type: Coupe Colour: Red Date of first registration: July 2016 69 NL would have been Northumberland, but they didn't do reverse sequences, despite We've identified this vehicle using the details you provided ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH VOLANTE V12 AUTO 2017 Registration number: 69 NL Body type: Convertible Colour: White Date of first registration: March 2017 So 69 ML, late 61 Middlesex seems best bet?? |

I believe you could be right. Registration looks brief enough to be shorter than 6 characters and with a bit of imagination the last letter could be 'L' so could have been used for a few TV appearances. |
