 An import from 2016, obviously inspired by HS 37722, arguably the most famous Cressida of the decade, for its inclusion in the popular internet meme. I wonder if it's a 1978 model registered in 1979, as the Mark II was facelifted in 08/78 and the Cressida followed suit shortly thereafter and this car is pre-facelift. Alternatively, it may have been modified to resemble its source of inspiration.

 Lateef, you are correct. This is actually my fathers car, made to look like my infamous drift car. They wanted my car back in this third instalment, but due to the ongoing restoration process, we had to create this double. Apart from my suspension and wheels, the only mods done to this car prior to filming was a welded rear differensial for the drift shot. This car is now reverted back to it's original look.
