A tentative identification that looks good to me.![]() Based on this example, it could be a 1936 Riley 1½-Litre 12/4 Lynx, (possibly the bonnet side-louvre length was increased for 1936). http://rileyrob.co.uk/specs/12-4/lynx1/ https://classiccarcatalogue.com/RILEY_1935.html For 1936 Lynx four-door four-seater touring bodywork was available on 1½-Litre and six-cylinder 15hp chassis. There were also two 1½-Litre Special Series models. The Lynx 15/6 proved to be a slow seller, with the general trend away from open cars to closed saloons, and so it was dropped within a year, although again a few later cars may have slipped out as special orders. |
